Website stats not working

My website gets upto 1000 visitors everyday. But since yesterday my website stats is showing “0 out 50,000” for hits in my control panel. Please reply back

Welcome back, its been a while

Just to check, is your site itself working?

Remember the stat’s arn’t live, so it may just be that you’ve checked them before they’ve updated. Alternatively, its possible that there’s been a minor bug retrieving the stats. I’ve seen it happen a couple of times and it always seems to sort itself out within a couple of days.

My website https://dangerousmother.com is online and working. You can click the link

In that case I wouldn’t worry too much about the stats. As long as the site is working thats the main thing

Today also it is showing “0 out of 50,000” for hits in my control panel.

As long as your site is working, I wouldn’t worry too much to be honest. and if you need it for analytics, then there are better options than the stats in the dashboard.

All I can suggest is to visit one of your websites in your hosting account 5 times a day.

But I can see why this is concerning, the Hits counter seemingly not counting any Hits. Because we all know if there is not enough Hits activity in a month, the account will be Suspended for Inactivity.

If this happens, you should be able to re-activate the account in the Client Area. But this should not happen in the first place.

I’m just looking atyour site, and I noticed the ?i=1 isn’t showing. then looking at your sites name servers

I just wanted to check, your site is hosted with InfinityFree isn’t it? And you’ve not upgraded it to Premium Hosting? While these name servers are valid for Infinity Free, I think the Byet ones are also used for Premium

Premium is handled by IFastNet, so the stats for a site on premium hosting wont appear on your Infinity Free Dashboard

Fully aware I might be well off the mark. I just wanted to double check to make sure it wasn’t something that simple

I don’t think the Byet ones are used for Premium Hosting, iFastNet uses a different set of NameServers for Premium Hosting accounts.

Interesting. Because they use the byte ones for the mofh service.

Not sure about premium but they are used for free hosting. If I recall correctly the premium ones are different. Byet/org NS are the default unbranded NS for free hosting.

Yeh, having double checked (and the link that Jri shared) I realised thats a mistake. I got confused because the byet.org name servers are the standard ones for MOFH.

The nameservers are not really a good indicator. When you just buy a premium account outright, you are instructed to use premium nameservers. But when upgrading from free hosting, iFastNet will update the DNS records in the free hosting nameservers to point to your premium account. You should still update the nameservers after the migration, but just looking at the nameservers will not tell you if an account is using free or premium hosting.

You really have to look at the actual IP address returned, which appears to be a free hosting IP address. So you are using free hosting.

Perhaps the counter is incorrect. But as long as your website works, I wouldn’t worry too much about that.
