Website is suspended

Website URL

https://breakupspeech1.rf.gd

Error Message

When accessing the website I get this message:

This site can’t provide a secure connection

breakupspeech1.rf.gd sent an invalid response.

  • [Try running Windows Network Diagnostics](javascript:diagnoseErrors()).

ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

Other Information

Removing the https:// section shows that the website is suspended.

I am a friend of the person that made this website. Unfortunately, he is not here anymore so it is difficult to gain access to his files. Especially these two urls:

breakupspeech1.rf.gd/breakup-speech-guide.html
breakupspeech1.rf.gd/breakup-speech-guide-for-survivors.html

Is there a way to retrieve these files?

You have to Install an SSL certificate to be able to visit the site with HTTPS

It means the website is suspended. The only way to check why it was suspended is from the account’s client area.

The only way to control the website is from that account

Hi Wasik,

Thank you for your quick response.

Unfortunately I have no way to access the account as the owner is not alive anymore. He did not pass on the login details for me to access his account. That is why I wanted to check if there is a way to access these two specific URL’s.

Perhaps some intervention by an sys admin but of course due to privacy reasons I understand that may be a stretch.

I’m sorry for your loss.

I’m sorry, but there is not a lot we can do without action from the account owner. If an account is suspended, it’s up to the account owner to resolve that, and we can’t just share files from people’s accounts (which are not already public).

I’m aware of the troubles people can face when dealing with the digital legacy of their loved ones, especially when they haven’t made precautions beforehand to transfer their digital assets upon their death. And I’m sorry to say that InfinityFree also doesn’t have anything in place to handle this situation securely.

Hello Admin,

Thank you for your kind and considerate response.

I fully understand that it is the responsibility of the account owner to resolve the matter or have set precautions whenever the owner is unable to manage the account itself. It is a pity nothing can be done.

Best wishes for the new year

Have you tried searching the url in the Wayback machine? Because if you are lucky they may have crawled some static pages and archived them (I’m not 100% sure if you will be able to find)

Thank you for your on going help in the matter.

Unfortunately, the Wayback machine did not archived these two pages.
