Website flagged by Google Safe Browsing

Website URL

https://chauhanestate.rf.gd/

Error Message

Google Safe Browsing: This site is unsafe — Deceptive pages / Social engineering. Chrome displays a dangerous-site warning when visitors open my website.

Other Information

My website is hosted on InfinityFree. Google Search Console reports “Deceptive pages,” and Google Safe Browsing marks my site as unsafe. The sample URL provided by Google is http://chauhanestate.rf.gd/.

I checked my homepage, PHP files, JavaScript, and .htaccess configuration but could not identify any obvious malicious code. The uploads folder is currently empty.

Please help me check whether my hosting account has any injected content, malicious redirects, or compromised files.

Thank you.

Welcome to the InfinityFree community forum! Good to have you here.

  • Most people answering here are volunteers. They’re often the fastest source of help. Admin (the only staff member) checks in about once a day for issues on our end.
  • Volunteers can’t see your account or website. Share what you actually see, like error messages and what happens when you try something. That’s more useful than your theory of what’s wrong.
  • AI tools often get InfinityFree wrong. If a volunteer’s advice differs from what an AI told you, please try the volunteer’s suggestion first.
  • Solving an issue is a joint effort. Try the suggestions you get and report back what happened.

Beep boop, I’m a bot! I dug through the forum to get you started. I sometimes get things wrong though, so do with this what you will until a human has a look.

Google’s listing is based on what its scanners think your pages look like, and only Google can remove it. Our article on this warning covers why sites get flagged and how to request a review:

Your hosting account was created only a few hours before you posted, and the article says new sites with little history are judged more strictly. It lists four common causes:

  • A copy of another site’s login page.
  • Another brand’s name or logo.
  • A hacked site.
  • A legitimate site that just looks like phishing, for example when a login form is the first thing visitors see.

Your site could be any of these, so I need to know two things:

  1. What is the site for, and what does a visitor see first on the homepage? For example, is it a login form, a lead-capture form, or a page that uses another company’s name or logo?
  2. What does the Safe Browsing site status page say for your address, and what does the Security Issues report in Search Console list as example URLs?

You wrote that the uploads folder is empty and that you found nothing in your files. If the site is yours and legitimate, the article’s advice is to make it obvious what the site is and who runs it. Then request a review once, in Search Console, after everything is fixed.

Hello, thank you for your response.

My website is a legitimate property-dealing website called Chauhan Estate Adviser. Visitors should see property listings or a “No Available Property” message on the homepage, not a login form.

Google Search Console still reports “Deceptive pages” and lists this sample URL: http://chauhanestate.rf``[.]gd/. Google Safe Browsing Status currently shows “No available data,” but Chrome still displays the dangerous-site warning.

Could you please help investigate whether the domain, hosting account, or any website files have been compromised?

Thank you.

Honestly, there’s nothing we can do from here. Its google who have flagged your site.

You’ll need to raise it with them. They do however seem to have flagged a lot of free sub-domains (probably due to a few bad sites hosted on them previously) so getting a custom domain (such as a free .pp.ua domain) might help

Google flagged your site, so you should resolve the problem with Google, and not us.
