infinity free deleted my website due to lack of use ok. However, I have a folder for my website and I would like to know if I can upload it to another website host. When I tried to do this on Hostinger I was unable to do so, they told me that I only have the site’s f
iles and that the database is missing. I don’t know if I saved it, what is the name of the folder to see if I also downloaded it to my hard drive? This is the print of the folder I have.
Nothing is stopping you from hosting your site anywhere else if you have it, however, SQL databases aren’t stored in your website’s files- they’re on the database server. The only way you’d have a backup of your database is if you’ve exported it from phpMyAdmin, as described in the knowledge base article on backing up your website. If you did that the database would be located in… well, wherever you downloaded it (it should be a .sql file, assuming you exported it with the right settings).
