Wanted to install phpbb. Error 500

Hi. I have this problem with almost all scripts. I have only recently installed Joomla automatically on hosting. It worked! The website is working. As soon as I deleted it and wanted to install phpbb. Error 500. How to remove it!? Who can tell me!? How to make scripts work!!!???

Did you read the other posts in the topic? They specifically answer that question.

Not only are you hijacking someone else’s topic, you’re also asking for the same information that has already been shared. Next time, please first read other topics and articles about the issue, and if that doesn’t help, create a new topic if you have more questions.

I have already created a similar theme. And participated in others. There is no specific solution to the problem in any topic. I accidentally got an INSTANT CMS working. And after the update, it stopped working. And now I can’t install any free script on the hosting. That’s why I found the nearest topic in which I could ask a specific question. And I didn’t get a specific answer, as always!

Checking your profile, you haven’t ccreated a thread about this recently. the last thread you created was in 2022. If you hijack other peoples posts, you are unlikely to get a direct answer.

Although it wasn’t aimed at you, my above answer still applys

Follow the instructions in this thread to make sure you’ve turned on the full error message. if the message doesn’t make sense, or you need help fixing it, create your own topic with the details of the error message and we can help

Thank you. I’ve been reading this. and I tried to rename htaccess, but it didn’t help. There is already no way to change php versions on the hosting itself. And by the way, the pre-installed version of phpBB installs from hosting automatically. It also leads to a page with error 500! This is outrageous!

Can you share the link for where the 500 error is occouring?

and have you turned on “Display Errors” for the site?

I’ve just installed PHPbb through the script installer, and its worked straight away. So that would suggest that the problem lies elsewhere

Good. I’ll try it now. Thanks for the help. For some reason, it gives an error in my script. I have enabled error display. And the page started coming out! But with errors already. I’m going to try your method now.

I’ve split your posts off to a separate topic. Again, do not hijack other people’s topics. If someone has a topic that seems similar but the solution proposed there doesn’t work for you, it means you don’t have the same issue, and your question doesn’t belong in that topic.
