Using Google Analytics without having https:// or http:// at the start

Can I use Google Analytics without getting my website to have https:// or http:// URL’s at the beginning?

If so, how will I do it?

Your website will always have HTTP or HTTPS in front of it, it is pretty much impossible to access your website without that part. Browser autofill it, which is why its not required that you type it in. Google analytics works on both I believe, but using HTTPS is always recommended.

I don’t think Google Analytics really cares about whether you use HTTP or HTTPS. In the reporting, you’ll generally just see page titles or paths, without URLs or the protocol being used.

You can just add the Google Analytics code snippet to your site and not worry about this.
