URGENT: Site Flagged by Google for "Deceptive Pages" - velofund.42web.io

Hello,

My website, velofund.42web.io, has been flagged by Google with a critical security warning for hosting “Deceptive pages”.

I have already done the following:

  1. I verified my site in Google Search Console.

  2. The official Google report confirms the “Deceptive pages” issue.

  3. Crucially, the report shows “Sample URLs: N/A”, which proves the malicious content is not located within my specific website files.

This is clear evidence that another account on my shared server is responsible for a phishing attack, and it is damaging the reputation of all websites on this server, including mine.

Could you please have an administrator investigate the server, identify the account responsible for the phishing content, and suspend it?

This is a critical problem that makes my website inaccessible. I need to know when the server has been cleaned so I can submit a “Request Review” to Google.

Thank you for your help.

I believe Google Safe Browsing actually works differently than what you’re describing.

Google reviews every website individually. They don’t really look at the IP address or server the website is on and use that to judge your website. Google understands the concept of a hosting provider, and that not every website on the same server is always managed by the same person.

The “Sample URLs: N/A” just means Google doesn’t have specific examples to show you. It doesn’t indicate that the issue is on another website or that your site is clean. It’s frustrating because it makes troubleshooting harder, but it’s not evidence of where the problem is located.

Looking at your website, I only see a login screen with no other content. In my experience, Google tends to flag such sites as phishing. Yes, it’s annoying and generally unjustified, but that’s just how it works. It shouldn’t prevent your website from being approved after review.

My advice: review your website for possible content that could trigger the deceptive site warning and try to fix it. When you’re done, just request a review. If your site is clean, there is a good chance it will just get approved without having to jump through more hoops.
