Upgrade php

Hello,

I have change the PHP version in Cpanel to 7.3. However, wordpress is still showing outdated php version. How to fix the error?

Here is the message when I ran tools site health:
our site is running an outdated version of PHP (5.6.40), which requires an update Security
PHP is the programming language used to build and maintain WordPress. Newer versions of PHP are faster and more secure, so staying up to date will help your site’s overall performance and security. The minimum recommended version of PHP is 7.3.

Which website are you referring to exactly?

Hello there,

To change the PHP version of your site you can follow the steps below:

  1. Login to the InfinityFree Dashboard

  2. Choose the site that you want to configure

  3. Go to vPanel (Control Panel)

  4. Go enter the “Select PHP Version” option

  5. Finally choose the PHP version you would like to use (e.g 7.3 and 5.6).

Hope this helps!
