Unsuscessful at loading a sitebuilder website

My website URL is: http://www.ueyev.com

**What I’m seeing is: Hello, I have been trying for hours to get my website displayed, I have tried dozens of times and I am exhausted:
Site builder never quite finishes building the site, usually ends with an error denying access and sometimes it ends with a server timeout error like this one :

Connection to host passed. Login failed. **

When I go to www.ueyev.com this is what I see:

Just the directories in the site ueyev.com

Please help, I am an old newbie and I have been trying since the very early hours with success to get ueyev.com up and running so I can start customizing it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.**

I’m using this software: website builder and file manager from cPanel

Additional information: Sometimes, after using site builder I get a directory listing in my domain, and sometimes a ¨404 error, we couldn´t find that page¨

Template compiled; nothing to do.
Now it shows an HTTP ERROR 500 for me:

Hello Ergastolator1,

I didn´t even see the template. I am not familiar with this.

I am going to try to reply and use the template

It is hard to edit anything.
It gives me a forbidden error.

It finally has edited but it has left out some information

Sorry

I’ve now replied on post 2.

That´s a new error

So I should not suggest to use the website builder because it’s buggy and not supported, or change the PHP version to 5.6 if you experience problems with it.

Ok, I will try wordpress.

Should I delete everything in file manager and then try wordpress?

No problem.

Wordpress says it installed successfully but I still get a 404 error

For me it works. For you it may be a caching issue. So try clearing your history, cookies and cache.

Try adding the domain again on an account.

Finally!!!, It´s up!!!

I cleared windows cache this way:

Right click “Start” button,
click “Command Prompt (admin)“,
Type ipconfig /flushdns then press “Enter“. (make sure there is a space before the slash)

and the site showed up in firefox

Thanks so much Ergastolator1

Kopage is in a very broken state right now. I’d recommend to stay as far away from it as you can.

How were you able to find it in the first place? It should be hidden from all the panels.

Hello Admin,

You are right, Kopage was very broken.
I found it in the cPanel, under Addon Domains>Modify Addon Domains.
In the Actions column it shows you a red button and a blue button.
The blue button is Site Builder.
If you press it I believe it goes to Kopage.

Thank you guys for all the help and for making this place a helping place for newbies like me.

Cheers

Thank you for letting me know, I’ll make sure that button will be removed to prevent more people from wasting time on that site builder.
