Unable to upload zip file using FileZilla and extract the zip file in server

I can’t upload a ZIP file to the server using FileZilla. It seems like the upload starts, but eventually it doesn’t complete.

If I try uploading the ZIP file directly through the hosting file manager, it uploads up to around 25MB, but then fails.

Also, even when I manage to upload a ZIP file, I can’t extract it on the server.

Besides, you cannot really extract a zip file on the server directly over FTP. Please unzip the file locally then upload the resulting files.

There’s no unzip function on FTP since day 1.

You might see a “extract” option inside the online file manager, but that’s completely different than what you are thinking about it.

It just do this exact same thing:

In a really unstable manner.

So please, follow the instructions. Unzip the file on your computer first, then upload the resulting files. Do not invent your own way.
