I am trying to login on FTP vis WinSCP but always got error message Access Denied.
I tried changing password, but nothing working…
Please share the full error log, here is a FileZilzza guide, but I imagine WinSCP has similar functionality somewhere.

Have you opened the control panel from your account
I seem to remember someone saying that when you access the control panel it activates FTP
Someone please correct me if I’m wrong?

Make sure you are using the FTP password found in the client area (different from what you use to login to the client area). If it’s still not working, try resetting your hosting account password from the client area, NOT the control panel, then wait 5 minutes and try again.

Thanks for the help.
the steps i followed.
- changed the password i used to login infinityfree
- regenerated a new password for Hosting Account
tried login and ftp working.
