Unable to load files via File Manager

Trying to update a file via file manager - getting message after partial transfer - Exceeded limit or blocked by security. Never had before.

Check the control panel and see if you have exceeded disk quota or inodes quota. If you haven’t, then try managing/uploading the files through an FTP client like FileZilla, since the online file manager sometimes throws that error for no reason:

I agree - but I have not been able to get my FTP to work since I changed my ISP and they won’t resolve the issue - so my only option is file manager which has worked fine until today.

I have the same situation as well. I tried to update files using both FTP (FileZilla) and File manager, but the processes of modifying/adding files were being halted with a reason “…exceeded by quota or blocked by security”.

I don’t know the cause but i think it was security issue or file manager issue. If it still doesn’t fix the issue. I may have to move my website to something else?

You shouldnt use the file manager to modify files. Edit them on your computer and reupload them via filezilla

I am using very little space for data - so the quota isn’t the issue - its an issue with the sites security settings

Apparently the issue has resolved itself and I am able to load files again

Then can you explain this?

This is from my FileZilla (latest version). When I try to access the file manager, the security blocks it.

The issue isn’t resolved for me. I tried to do everything to build my website again.

Luckily, I changed the minimum allowed TLS version in FileZilla into 1.2, and enabled system trust store to validate TLS certificates, and somehow it worked. 1.3 is blocked by security for some reasons.

I think there was an early post from Admin re using version 1.2 as 1.3 is not yet supported
