Hello @KangJL ,

thank you for your response and for the link.
I have tried to download the .zip file and the file management page froze on me showing the error 404.

Now that I read through the link of yours, I see at least one possible issue - archive size. All the files + media of the website is over 10 Mb limit for sure.
It looks like as a free user I will have to use FileZilla, so I will study this today.

Thanks for your help @KangJL! :slightly_smiling_face:

I checked it myself and I think the size of the website is the problem. It looks like the download works for 60 seconds, and then it stops. This is probably the result of the server giving up while waiting for the zip file to be generated. The size of the files is not the main problem, the number of files is too.

Backing it up with FileZilla is always a safe bet. But our Filestash installation is also better at handling big zip downloads.

Hello @Admin,

Thanks for taking your time for checking and the explanation!
After going through the guide I have successfully managed to backup the website. It took almost 30 minutes to download entire htdocs. As you mentioned the main bottleneck was the number of files indeed, it was around 14,000 :open_mouth:. Probably because of all the plug-ins installed in WordPress.

Have a great one!
