Unable to determine directory status
An error occurred while trying to check the directory of your website.

I haven’t been able to build the website yet since every time that I click on “Website Builder” I get a, “Could not launch Site.Pro
An unknown error occurred while connecting to your account! Please try again later.” error. I believe that it has something to do with the directory but not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Are you sure that’s your site’s URL? A whois lookup suggests the base domain dom.do is pointing to Atom.com’s nameservers. But if I actually go to Dom.do, I get a screen telling me that the domain is for sale.

Are you seeing this on the health check screen? If the directory is actually missing then there should be a button you can click to restore it.

there was a typo in the domain. The correct domain is “statera.com.do”

Yes, it’s on the Health Check screen. Let me see if I can restore it. Thanks.

Nope, no button. But it does seem to be missing since I went into the File Manager and don’t see an htdoc folder listed.

Since that’s an addon domain, htdocs would be a subfolder of the folder called “statera.com.do”. That being said when I visit your site now I see the default page from the index2.html file, which tells me that the folder itself must be present.

It seems that FTP access for your account is not working.

Could you please try logging in to the control panel once from the client area?

If that logs you in correctly, that should enable FTP access for you account.

If not, then the password in the client area is most likely wrong. You can update it from the client area. Do NOT change the password of your hosting account in any other way, because the password will not be updated in the client area which means many features in the client area will stop working.
