Unable to access my website

vincentmerand.infinityfreeapp.com

Hello everybody
I wonder why I can’t access my website : vincentmerand.infinityfreeapp.com ?
Any idea ?
thanks

No issue

Newly created sites can take up to 72 hours to start working properly. If it is not a new site, then something on your end is probably blocking it; you can try visiting it from a different network or a VPN.

how recently did you set up the domain?

It can take up to 72 hours for DNS propagation?

have you tried accessing it from a different device on a different network? It could be a firewall\ISP block.

VPN’s can also help get around firewall\ISP blocks.

I can only access your site with a VPN, so it looks like my ISP are blocking it.

I hope you work it out quickly

Hi Dan, thanks for answering
My website was created three or four years ago. I tried to open it with my mobile (Firefox beta), my computer (Chrome and Firefox) and my wife’s computer ! I don’t use any VPN.

It sounds like your ISP may be blocking you from accessing your website. Using a VPN can bypass such restrictions, or at least verify if such blocks are present. That might be a good reason to try a VPN.

Looks like there are some DNS issues going on. I cannot access my website, and having checked a few of the other sites mentioned in this forum today, I’m seeing DNS failures for those too. That’s probably why it’s working for some people (especially those working at InfinityFree) but not for others.

I cannot get to any of my websites either but I can see them all in Control Panel etc. Seem to be a DNS problem. Is there a status page available here? If not there should be so we can see if there are any issues.

I am using Virgin Media DNS in the UK. Is anyone else on Virgin having this problem?

I’m not with Virgin, but I am in the UK.

I just temporarily switched my DNS to Google 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 and all websites back up and working.

How do you switch your DNS ?

Not being facetious but best to Google it as it is different depending on what operating system you are using (Windows versions, Android versions, IoS etc). Its fairly simple and didn’t even require a reboot,

Also having same issue today, Infinity side fine but my site no work, no changes in uploaded files. I will wait 24 hours and check again. I have infinity free.

Depends on your device. You can also do it at the router level. Google “[router name] change dns servers” or “[OS version] change dns servers”

Now ftpupload.net is also failing to resolve for me.

I switched my DNS (thanks to "Changer les DNS sur Windows [11, 10, 8, 7] – Le Crabe Info) and it’s OK now, I can access my websites…
Can Infinityfree find why all this mess happened ?
Thanks

It’s probably a network or ISP block, something InfinityFree has no control over. Contact your ISP for more information and ask them to remove the block, or what blocklist is preventing you from accessing the site
