Unable to access .byetcluster.com phpmyadmin

Website URL

https://sql208.byetcluster.com

Other Information

I recently used the Softaculous installer in my control panel to set up a new website application. The installation completed successfully, but the site is now throwing database connection errors, and I am completely unable to access the database. Upon checking the generated configuration details, Softaculous created the database on byetcluster instead of the standard InfinityFree SQL servers.
Here are the configuration details generated by the installer:
DB Host: sql208.byetcluster.com
DB Name: if041662423_billing
DB User: 41662423_44
Because Softaculous provisioned this on a ByetCluster server rather than the native InfinityFree database infrastructure, the standard phpMyAdmin “Admin” button in my client area cannot locate or authenticate into this database. Could support please look into why the automatic installer routed this deployment to the wrong cluster, and help me migrate or reassign this database so I can access my data?
Thank you!

Welcome to the forum!

When we provide a topic template, we do that to help you provide the relevant information. So if you are reporting that “the site” is now throwing “database connection errors”, it would help a lot to know:

  • Which website are you referring to?
  • What does the error message say?

That way, we can diagnose the issue ourselves, instead of being limited to the breadcrumbs you give us.

And that’s important, because last paragraph in your message is entirely composed of wrong assumptions. “ByetCluster” and InfinityFree are the same infrastructure, and the difference between sql208.byetcluster.com and sql208.infinityfree.com is purely cosmetic, and both point to exactly the same server and IP address. Nothing is routed wrong and nothing needs to be moved.

I am REALLY SORRY for the mistakes, actually, my website is billing-ttpl.rf.gd and i made another mistake, it is not EXACTLY that the app is throwing database errors, it’s just that I can not access it because the database is not accessible from my infinityfree account nor vistapanel (these only show my databases on sql208.infinityfree.com with user if0_41662423 and not the database on sql208.byetcluster.com with user if041662423). To be more specific, I am using Invoice Ninja on the url billing-ttpl.rf.gd and i installed it from your official software installer, softacolous which installed it on the correct url but pointed the database installation and credentials to byetcluster.

Can you not understand what does this mean

We can help you with this issue but you need to first give up the mindset that “it’s pointing to the byetcluster it’s wrong”

You’re still wrong about the “it’s on the wrong cluster” assumption.

The issue you’re describing is usually the result of a problem with your database permissions, which tends to happen for databases created through Softaculous.

The fix is simple: just attempt to create the database again through the client area or control panel. It will make the database appear in the list and you’ll be able to access it. This is completely safe: the contents of the database remain untouched, and the settings in your website will keep working.
