Two issues with installing WordPress

Hi all.

This is one of the URL’s with the issues: https://fitness1.42web.io/

I have successfully installed WordPress on 5 InfinityFree domains.

But starting yesterday, when I try to install WordPress on more domains (all of which have SSL enabled), these issues appeared:

  1. “A trusted SSL Certificate was not found” message is shown when I select the url to start with “https” (SSL already installed and active)
  2. So I try to get around this by just selecting “http”, and after a few seconds of installing WordPress, installation stops and this message is displayed:
"The following errors were found :

Could not write the Configuration File check_charset.php
Could not write the Configuration File soft.htaccess
Could not write the Configuration File wp-config.php"

The day before these issues started, I had successfully created 5 free InifityFree domains, installed SSL (provided by Google Trust) and installed WordPress.

I did noticed that when these issues started yesterday, during the WordPress installation, sometimes “The connection was lost” was displayed. Sometimes the installation reached 95% and froze. Also today, Softaculous seemed to be intermittently down. I am not sure if these are related to the issues I am having.

Any solutions to these issues? Thanks in advance.

You can try manually installing WordPress

Hi KangJL.

I do have 5 free subdomains in one InfinityFree account, all of which have WordPress installed.

I did not know that there was a limit, and it kept letting me create more domains and SSL certificates.

I will try to create another InfinityFree account (apparently 3 accounts are allowed) and see if I can create new domains and install WordPress.

Thank you.

Update.

I created a second account and added a new domain, and WordPress installed without issues. :+1:
