I think there’s a problem with your network on your side, as I don’t experience this problem; can you try using a VPN to see if it works?

First request may take long because your browser is uncached and server have to load way more stuff for sites inactive for a while.
For SSL, setup it correctly and it will work.

There are many reasons your site could be unresponsive. Usually the issues are on your side of the network. Slow internet, too much activity, bad routing. I wonder if it would be too slow from another internet connection rather than your own.

Not slow, actually quite fast for a free hosting, as there’s not that much to load.
Mine took 5-6s to load https://chiucs123.great-site.net/, this is setup without optimization for testing purposes.

The base domain *.infinityfreeapp.com is blocked by your ISP.
Connection Timeout is caused by null route which is done on their side. You can do nothing but either use another subdomain or use vpn in order to access it.
