Error Message

This appears to be a subdomain you are adding (1008485) dehsetcnctornatezgahi com. 86279 IN A 199.59

Other Information

I have added DNS name servers ns1.infinityfree.com and ns2.infinityfree.com but when I try to add domain to my profile it gives me this error.

As you can see I have passed name server validation.
But this when I click add domain this error occurs.

The Client Area ties in with the control panel, which is where the error is originating from.

I have noticed this issue when moving a Subdomain to an Addon domain, and I thought that was normal, with the recent control panel backend update.

This is an odd thing to see, a main domain being rejected. I’m guessing something went wrong during the update. This is being investigated.

Anyways, welcome to the InfinityFree Forum!

so you are telling me just wait for update or fix?

I have escalated the issue. This seems like a bug on our end, but I’m not sure, so I have asked our supplier to check.

This should now be fixed! Please try adding the domain to your account again.

I’m having the same issue.
Is this something that is global? How can I solve this.
Passed the domain verification but when I try to add it I see this message:
The hosting platform returned an error message while trying to process your request. Please try again or try making the change through the control panel. The error returned is: This appears to be a subdomain you are adding (1008485)

I am also getting this.

Plus one here, verification is alright but I get the same error when I try to continue, same error happens on the control panel too

Same error. Can somebody help?

The issue is being investigated. There is no solution right now except waiting. We will inform you when it is fixed.

Well, I found what seemed to be the issue with my case, as I got my domain set up.

The problem was with the directory.

If you already have a free domain and is adding your own, it suggests a new directory for your domain, like [your domain]/htdocs.

It worked when I changed that to the same as the free domain, being htdocs/ (as I don’t care about the free domain, and use that for nothing anyway).

After picking that directory and not letting it create a new one it worked.

I tried doing as you said and I wrote mydomain.com/htdocs. It gave me an error but then I deleted /htdocs and pressed button It miraculously worked. Thanks man.

You are more than welcome.
