There are no plans to increase the available disk space. 5 GB is still plenty of disk space as far as I know. I don’t see many cases where people hit it, and when they do, it’s often a consequence of some questionable behavior, like having downloadable files or very large image galleries.

And 5 GB is already more than you get with many other free hosting providers.

For what reason do you need more than 5 GB disk space? Do you have any accounts for which you’re approaching the 5 GB limit with regular web content?

Right.

In that case, I will just add that I’m not going to say it will never be considered, but there should be a good case for why having more than 5 GB disk space is necessary. And right now, there isn’t one, as far as I know.

So to answer your question: yes, the disk space can increase to a higher value in the future. As to when that happens, or whether it will at all, I don’t know.
