i get the second line as a ready soon as i press request certificate it says The domain name needs to be validated first. when i refresh the page the Current Destination becomes not ready again

idk what i did wrong here exactly??
(also noticed the community is active and nice here lol)

I don’t think you did anything wrong. The CNAME record check can be a bit flaky shortly after it has been added, due to DNS caching. If you just let it rest for an hour or two and then try again, it should work without any problems.

thanks ill be waiting then (ill close this topic and mark ur comment as solution)

also in the document of that certificate guide add a part that says this thing (let it rest for at last 2 hours until you will be ready to go)

one last thing

is it normal for the destination and current destination being same? (i used find to see if they are same or not)

Yes, that’s precisely what you want. The “Destination” field shows what the CNAME record should point to, the “Current Destination” field shows what the CNAME record actually is.

Only when both are the same, the check will show Ready and you’ll be able to request the certificate.
