I received this message, but my site has https:// at the beginning: The connection for this site is not secure www.mountainparadiseairnbn.is-best.net sent an invalid response.
ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR
I cleared the browsing history, the cookies and the rest except for the passwords. I still get same message. I am using Edge. I check my security trust certificate but is still valid until the 25th.
The issue you’re having is a consequence of a system change that was made last. It should make SSL for free subdomains better, but it has some unfortunately side effects.
I just wrote the announcement about this, including a workaround for the issue you’re having:
I did it by entering into the database directly. This is maybe too technical, so I click the link the Admin has there Migrating WordPress Advance Administration. From there I went and did the instructions Changing the URL directly in the database
If you know how to access phpMyAdmin on your host, then you can edit these values directly to get your site up and running again. (Login into InfinityFree -Select Control Panel - to the left Is phpMyAdmin click there and follow the instructions from WordPress.
Do all the steps go slowly. I did not do the backup, but I have one that I did maybe a month ago just in case, but I did download the htacess file. Change the names in the URL and below is another one with the name change there too. Make sure to save each time. If it gets you out to another page start again. Now I am working with my home page an image is missing. I have to check all my pages urls too. Good luck!
