hi, my account was suspended because of hits. the only answer i recive is to upgrade. I work for a public school and cant pay (thats why i use free hosting)
we need this to host our domain so the google workspace for education works ok.
if the host goes down we cant use our emails and that is a really big problem for us.
please could you help me?
i dont need a website just a host so my domain exists and email works

Unfortunately, many people are being attacked, shut down, and banned from hosting. I’m very sorry to hear about your situation in this matter.
It seems like these DDoS attacks are happening on every site hosted on InfinityFree. There is not much that can be done.

If you want only to use the mail service, do not upload any content to the hoster and setup a domain only to use it for emails.
Maybe the rules for Google Workspace for Education are different, but I know that you don’t need a website to be able to get Google Workspace for Business. All you need is a domain name and somewhere to configure DNS records.
Even if you do need a website, you could still host the DNS elsewhere (like with your domain name provider or another free service like Cloudflare), so the status of your website hosting will not affect your email.
The only time email must be dependent on us is if you’re using a free subdomain. And while budgets may be tight for public schools, it seems hard to believe that they can’t even string up $10 per year for a domain, or have access to some program for special education domains.
What exactly do you need website hosting for if you don’t need a website?

i dont need the website for google workspace for education. but when my account was suspended and deleted during summer holidays (i live in Argentina, not the us, so dollar fees are not simple things for us) the email stop working. I once again create de account and set the mx accounts(?) or directions(?) as google said and mails start working again.
when my account was suspended because of hits abuse, ti said it will be deleted afetr 20 to 60 days or so.
I was afraid everything goes down again.
Now, i am not sure why, the account is ok. can i remove the website? would that help me prevente a new problem like this?

If all you need is a DNS hosting service, then a specialized provider will be a much better fit than our hosting. For example, Cloudflare provides excellent DNS hosting for free.
I would not recommend to use our DNS hosting if you don’t also intend to use our website hosting. The risk of your account being suspended due to high web traffic is one of those reasons.
I’m shocked that the same organization that manages the .edu.ar domains doesn’t also provide DNS hosting. It seems crazy to me that schools are basically left to cobble something together themselves without any IT resources.

this was the hardest for me to solve. I couldn’t understand how to give de nameservers of something that didn´t exist. I am a math teacher and i am learning online to do all this… so once again, thank you so much for your help.
