Other Information

But nothing has changed and everything is set up and my websites are working. Just can’t renew my SSL certificates this time because of this error. Any ideas? Thank you

I’m having a related issue:

I am able to create a certificate request for my domain. It says the CNAME entry is correct:

Your SSL order has been created! Please see below for the next steps.

Validate your domain name ohut.ch

The CNAME record is set up correctly!

Please click the Request Certificate button below to start the issuance process.

Then, I click the button, and the next page tells me the CNAME is not there:

Your certificate has been requested and should be available shortly!

Validate your domain name ohut.ch

Please set up the following CNAME record on your domain name.

This record is necessary for the certificate provider to verify you own the domain name.

Record Name _acme-challenge
Domain ohut.ch
Destination 8ef8a0e0-7f87-4bc5-994a-cacc37d35c59.acmedns.infinityfree.net
Current Destination (no CNAME found)

We did not detect any nameservers on your domain name.

Please note that DNS changes can take a few hours to take effect.

I’ve tried this repeatedly for the past few days, including updating the CNAME record. I’m using my registrar’s DNS for my domain, but checking Quad9, Google, Level3, and Cloudflare DNS, it’s in there, and obviously the first step checks it successfully; there must be some kind of flaw in the second lookup.

yes, this looks like exactly the same issue I’m having.

Same issue for me.

There was an issue with the connection between the client area and the DNS servers that resulted in both nameservers and CNAME records not being detected properly.

That issue has been resolved now, and you should now be able to request SSL certificates as usual.
