Other Information
This has been working fine since I set it up last year, I have multiple urls using this subdomain that point to fanlink.to (toneden’s link service). I have changed nothing on the domain provider side nor the hosting side here but it stopped working. I re-added the sub-domain, reinstalled an SSL cert etc and nothing is working. If I hadn’t touched anything then surely it wasn’t any fault my side. Is it a bug with infinity free? Thanks

Thanks, I’ve never heard of ‘wildcard’, the domain always pointed to ‘fanlink.to’ (owned by toneden.io). The confusing thing is it just happened by itself so I can’t work out what to fix because I hadn’t changed anything. I only noticed by accident it was ‘dead’ 2 days after previously seeing it was ok.
I removed and re-added the subdomain and the CNAME for it (on here) to point to fanlink.to (i.e goto.spacehotelmusic.com/newyorksky SHOULD show fanlink.to/newyorksky and did up until yesterday when it just stopped for no reason).
If you want to host a particular subdomain somewhere, you should not add it through the Subdomains menu. Just add the CNAME record. The Subdomains section is only used if you want to host subdomains with us.
So please try to remove the goto subdomain from the Subdomains list. And then maybe remove and recreate the CNAME record for good measure, in case trying to have both on the same subdomain may have caused issues.
O.K thanks, for some reason it started working again even with it in ‘subdomains’ but will bear that it mind if it messes up again. Because it happened without me changing anything I didn’t think that was a problem (it was already set).
