Sslforfree / cloudflare /

If you want to get an SSL certificate from us, then we are the SSL vendor. But we don’t use your CSR, we generate a new private key for you.

Basically, you should follow the instructions in the client area first. Once you got the certifcate there, you can use the “If you already have a private key” instructions from the article.

Admin, so, u tell me that is free, and now u are the vendor…

i dont care what appears on details of the certificate, i only want the padlock :stuck_out_tongue:

The term “vendor” in this case should just be considered to be another word for provider. Most SSL certificate providers charge money, but some (like us) don’t.

So, contrary to the terminology, you can get free SSL on a free domain on free hosting, and get the padlock for free.

Just start from the Free SSL Certiifcates tool in the client area and follow the instructions there.

i gonna try to use the cloudflare… to see if works…

Thanks for the free hosting!! but really cpu overload quickly…

You can follow my quick guide tho.

That just depends on what you’ve got on your website. If you’ve got too much php scripts or something similar, the CPU will obviously overload quickly. If you’re using wordpress, than I suggest you take these useful steps from @JavesPotato.

in theory, u will be able to use just the wordpress system without any experience of having it…
Worpdress is recognized by those beauty themes ands plugins…

Can anyone tell me…
i uninstalled wordpress because its keep saying too many redirects and not showing wordpress.
So i reinstalled… https://eldesayunoorganico.com/ padlock is there…
But i am not able to get https://eldesayunoorganico.com/wp-admin to access admin
its keep telling me too many redirects…

Cant even access https://eldesayunoorganico.com/wp-login.php

Whats is happeing here? Its a cloudflare problem?

Maybe try this solution:

It appears to be an SSL error. Kindly read it and try.

It depends on how you configure the settings…

i just registered the cloudflare account, and they say please use this dns. so i changed, just that…

Consider using Flexible mode if you don’t have an origin certificate server and you’re using a certificate from Cloudflare, and disable “Always use https” & “Automatic http rewrites” so that you can access the wp-admin and then install a plugin called “Really simple SSL” from wordpress, this will redirect all http requests including the vistors, files, images to https instead of using those option from cloudflare that can cause the wp-admin error.

CREDENTIALS HIDDEN BY OTHER MOD FOR ALL WEBSITES - NEVER EXPOSE CREDENTIALS IN A PUBLIC PLACE!

Don’t change the URL to HTTPS in the WordPress settings, because that causes the problem! Now follow this article to remediate:

And I would like to remember to not post your credentials on a public place again.

NEVER EVER EVER Show your password at public!
The password keeps you secure and prevents others from accessing your accounts and sensitive content, you’re just making things worse by making it public.
