Doesn’t the Ssl certificate support automatic renewal? I hope to add the automatic renewal function.
If you’re using an InfinityFree subdomain the SSL is automatic. If your using a custom domain it doesn’t automatically renew.
However with a custom domain you can use cloudflare for their SSL tools which does auto renew
There is no automatic renewal function right now for free SSL certificates. To renew them, you’ll need to login and request a new certificate and install it yourself.
same problem, they send reminder emails that it will expire but i always forget to do it!
but this is probably impossible since they use lets encrypt and trust and they do not have their own SSL service
Let’s Encrypt and Google Trust both lend themselves quite well to automatic renewal. Let’s Encrypt was basically built to make getting certificates easy. However, the additional plumbing around it makes things more complicated.
Automatic renewal isn’t an option right now. That may change in the future.
Being an SSL provider yourself is extremely complicated but also unnecessary. Even running your own SSL provider, you’ll still need to renew certificates regularly.
