Is there a reason the self signed SSL certificates are always in the past? And has expired?
Also is there a way to use letsencrypt on the free hosting when you already have an account on letsencrypt using the same email as the account on infinitefree?
I would love to be able to use letsencrypt with my free hosting on ssl.
We never bothered to “renew” the self signed certificates, but I don’t think it matter because you’re going to get an SSL warning regardless of whether the due date is in the past or in the future.
Let’s Encrypt does not support InfinityFree, so you can’t issue certificates for websites hosted here.
Yeah but people are also more concerned when it self sign ssl is in the past. Then it is a current one. Gives it a reason more too not the the SSL.
Also why does letsencrypt have an option then in the panel for the free hosting?

You can use free SSL certificates here. You can use certificates from literally every SSL provider except for Let’s Encrypt here. Because Let’s Encrypt is the only certificate provider who uses website verification rather than email verification, which does not work with our servers.
How about cloudflares ones? A way to use that one with custom domain and dns nameservers?
Without having to use the nameservers from infinity. Cause i already had my cloudflare account way before i had my infinity account so i can’t use the cloudflare option cause the email is already existing on cloudflare?

Actually, you can just move your domain back to your own Cloudflare account. Using our nameservers is recommended, but after you’ve added the domain to your account you can safely move it to another DNS provider.
Like after addiong my custom domain i can just use cloudflare? Okay i’ll try that and if i have issues i’ll be back.
