I am trying to add an SSL to my website but I can’t do it, I tried SSLforfree and it doesn’t work and also tried Cloudflare which doesn’t allow sub-domains, I looked all over the internet and cant find something that works, I am a free user
Hello there
There is no way to get Free SSL for a subdomain.
Have you tried check the SSL certificate issuer on the Client Area?
Check the menu and you can see a “SSL certificates” tab.
Take note that this will only work with a Primary Domain and not a subdomain.
You don’t have a choice but to buy a new domain or get one for free with Freenom.
Whenever i try to use Freenom my domain just doesnt work, it doesnt show up as its registered. it allows me to add it to my cart and “buy it for free” but doesnt show up as mine
Only .ml, .gq, .cf, .ga and .tk (.tk tld’s are banned here) are available for free.
To register a domain with freenom:
- You’ll have to select a name for your domain (e.g mysite.ml, mysiteisawesome.gq)
- Press the “Get it now” button to select the domain you wanted.
- Select the “12 months @ free” option then press “Continue”
- On Checkout, press the “Register” button.
And it should now register your new domain name and then you can now configure its DNS records.
It does thats the thing
What do you mean?
I have no clue whatsoever about what you are trying to say.
Video has been deleted due to a ip leak
Oh I get it now.
That’s probably because your I.P was blocked by Freenom.
Try using a VPN and choose a location that you think freenom has not blocked (e.g. Spain, Netherlands, Switzerland).
And then repeat the registration process.
You’ll just have to retry again until that recaptcha can verify you as a human.
Freenom is a very buggy registrar service whether you use it to buy a premium domain or free domain, the site is always buggy and is not worth it.
ok thanks
Indeed it is, I tried with USA ip and it prevent me from registering domain, I tried Iran ip and i could register a domain.
There are really cheap domain registrar services, that will work better than freenom and it is probably worth it to get a domain elsewhere.
