Other Information
I have tried generating numerous certs, most recently google trust free cert. The web UI states the cert is installed. In cpanel I can see the installed cert matches what was provided to me. However, I am still getting these browser errors. I have tried private sessions and have waited for several hours now. The newly generated cert does not appear to be properly installing server/hosting side.
If I had to guess this is related to whatever changes you all made recently to self signed certs. I let my cert accidentally expire (I was away for several weeks and it expired while I was gone). And so I am trying to embed a new cert at this point, not renew an old one (not that this should matter). That is when this problem began.
There must have been some type of service issue earlier, I swear I waited several hours and the self signed cert was not being properly replaced by the lets encrypt cert. Even though Cpanel had it. Thank you for checking. I see the same now too I cant explain the delay that I was experiencing.
Note that especially Google Chrome has the tendency to cache SSL certificates for a while. So even after replacing the SSL certificate, it can take some time for it to be visible. Using the regular browser cache clearing features do NOT clear this particular cache. But you can bypass this cache by checking your website in Incognito Mode.
I see you switched your certificate from Let’s Encrypt to Google Trust. Both are perfectly valid certificates, but Google Trust has slightly worse browser acceptance rates in my experience than Let’s Encrypt.
