SSL configuration not working with ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

I requested SSL from the “Free SSL certificate” section for my website “grtest.great-site.net”. From SSL/TLS section of the panel, I configured the private key and uploaded the certificate issued by GoGetSSL. While accessing the website with HTTPS, chrome reports an error i.e. ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR.

I checked the SSL using third party SSL checker “sslshopper” and its throws an error :

“No SSL certificates were found on grtest.great-site.net. Make sure that the name resolves to the correct server and that the SSL port (default is 443) is open on your server’s firewall.”

FYI, I have added the required CNAME as asked in the SSL request/configuration steps.

I am not sure what I am missing. Any help is highly appreciated.

Hm did you follow the SSL guides on infintyfree correctly?

Hey there,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I did follow the steps and also added the same in my query. Still not sure what went wrong.

It sounds like it’s the same issue as was reported here:

As well as in a few other topics. We’re working on this.
