SSL Certificates are no longer required is that correct? but the prefix WWW will no longer work?
These only apply to free subdomains
Ok thanks my certificate runs out in a few days - do I need to do anything to ensure Https still works. It sounds like no but i want to be 100%
If you are using a free subdomain, then you do not need to worry about SSL certificates. HTTPS will continue to work even if the old certificate expires; just be sure to visit without the “www” prefix.
However, if you are using a custom domain, then you will still need to renew your SSL certificate every 90 days, or before it expires as usual.
