The CSR’s are generated with OpenSSL, if that helps. Why do you need to know?

I used infinity’s Cpanel to generate CSR and Private Key.

Now while applying for the certificate the site(www.instantssl.com by Comodo) is asking me to “Select the server software used to generate the CSR:” with drop-down list of different server names.

I checked the site and I do see a dropdown for “Web Server Software”. Our (rather unique) stack isn’t shown there, but if you request a certificate for Apache with ModSSL you should be able to use the certificate here as well.
