SSL Certificate problem

image

I got free SSL certificate from InfinityFree and now im having issue about error message.

Safari sees my website as an untrusted website.

In google it works well without any problem.

What should i do now?

For starters, you should not hide the domain name when asking why something on your domain doesn’t work. If we don’t know the domain name, we can’t verify there is a problem, let alone fix it.

There are many different reasons why you could see an error like this. We need more information to narrow it down.

So please tell us the domain name so we can try to help you.

Hi, I’ve just checked the site and as you mentioned, it does work well on google chrome.

This means that it is simply just an issue with your safari browser, which has probably cached your data to improve page load time - including some outdated information relating to your site’s encryption.

The simple fix for this is to clear your cache, and this varies based on your iOS device.

  • On iMac, you have to go to open Safari, select Preferences > Privacy , then select Remove All Website Data
  • On an iPhone, you have to open Settings > tap on Safari, then select Clear History and Website Data

No problem

Then I would guess they visited your website at least once before you added your SSL, so their devices are still storing old data. They would have to clear their temporary browser data and cache using the steps I provided above. For any new users like myself, it would work fine.
