SSL Certificate Not Trusted by Google Chrome

Hey InfinityFree Team,

First off, thank you for the awesome free hosting service you provide—it’s been really helpful!

I just wanted to bring something to your attention. It seems that the SSL certificate provided by InfinityFree is not trusted by Google Chrome. When trying to access my website, Chrome shows a warning indicating that the certificate isn’t issued by a trusted authority, even though it’s supposed to be Google-trusted.

This is causing concern for visitors and affecting the overall credibility of the site. Could you please look into this issue or provide an update on the status of SSL support, especially regarding Chrome’s certificate trust?

Thanks again for your great work, and I hope this can be resolved soon!

Best regards,

Which provider did you use when requesting a certificate?

The providers Infinity free use are Lets Encrypt, Google Trust and ZeroSSL.

All 3 of these are recognised and trusted SSL providers. However, if you picked a self signed SSL certificate, then they are not trusted by browsers.

A self signesd SSL certificate is the equivilent of you asking for my ID, and me handing you a pice of paper that says “Trust me Bro, I’m me” while the others are more like driving licences or passports.

I used Google trust

Are you accessing the site via HTTPS? Can you screenshot the error message

Without the URL is quite hard for us to actually tell what is the issue.
