SSL Certificate Installs successfully but Live SSL Status says Not Found for Custom Domains

Error Message
SSL status reads not found even after I successfully installed both valid LetsEncrypt likewise ZeroSSL certificates just to confirm if it was related to the SSL Cert but no luck.

Please note that after sometime, an old expired certificate dated back to 2019 is automatically installed. (more like an automated roll back implementation).

Furthermore, once a valid certificate is re-installed, the ssl not found issue re-occurs again.

Urgent help needed at this point to get my website back up and running. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

Sometimes it takes about 10-15 minutes before SSL cert becomes active. But if you have installed the cert more than 15 minutes ago and it is still not becoming active, then try removing the certificate, then install it manually. It happened to me once, my cert stopped working and I was seeing the same not found alert even though the certificate and the key was added, and was working previously.
I removed the certificate and manually added it back, my website was back working after 15 minutes. So try that.

Many thanks LilieV. I’ll try that out right away.

I have the same problem in my custom domain hosted on infinity and tried installing the certificate manually from the panel but no luck!

Same outcome unfortunately. it didnt work.

Same problem here for the custom domain
Update: https:/www.mysite works with SSL but https://mysite does not. I could not manage to find a way to redirect all traffic to https:/www.mysite via .htaccess file :frowning: so i disabled https redirection in the file.

Same problem I have how to fix

I just checked https://dabuka.com.ng/, and it seems to be fine now.

It looks like you replaced the Let’s Encrypt certificate with a certificate you obtained directly from ZeroSSL?

It’s odd that you had issues with your SSL certificates, but I can promise you the problem is not with the certificate itself. So you can just replace the certificate with your Let’s Encrypt certificate and it should also work. Or if you really like ZeroSSL, you can get unlimited free ZeroSSL certificates through our panel too.

As for everyone else having “the same issue”, that means your problem is solved too, because this problem is. And posting here was pointless because the issue was going to be fixed anyway.

If it’s not fixed, then it means you’re not having the same issue. But since all of you either omitted or purposely obfuscated your domain name, I have no way to check.

As a rule of thumb: no domain = no help.

Many thanks for the feedback @Admin

I can confirm that my issue has been resolved and certificate working as expected.

I’ll switch back to installing certificates via the panel once the active one is about to expire.
thanks once again.
