Since my webiste was deleted, I did the following:

1. Created the web account again (no upload yet)
2. Went to the SSL tab where I saw my former SSL cert as expired.
3. Tried to create a new order and it does nothing other than saying “Custom SSL no longer available for free sites. They have SSL by default” or something like that.
4. Deleted the expired SSL cert and tried to creat a new Order, got the same error.
5. Tried to browse the URL using HTPPS and it said “Secure Connection Failed”

So, that is confusing, is SSL available or not for free sites? It says it has SSL by default but when you try to access it it says it could not make a secure connection.

Will it, or will it not have a default SSL certificate?

Ah you missed the announcement…

Free subdomains no longer need SSL certificates, because they are being covered by one from IFastNet

Your site is covered by the *.lovestoblog.com SSL certificate. This can be confirmed using an SSL checker:

On going to your site (with https://) I get this:

so it looks like it’s all working

Added note, you may need to wait up to 72 hours for everything to properly drop into place and for your site to be fully accessable
