[SOLVED] no longer access to cPanel

Hi support,

Earlier in the day, I registered on your web host - everything went well - I have my domain which is working fine - but after a few minutes I no longer had access to my cPanel.

When I try to connect through http://cpanel.epizy.com I have this message:

I tried to send my password reset request but never received the email with reset password details.

I was also able to connect at my ftp host but now I’m no longer.

Could you help me to find out where’s the issue? Thank you in advance.

Cheers

Hello @fantomas

There is a posibillity that your hosting account may have been suspended. In most of cases it may happen because of suspicious files, suspicious domain/sub-domain names for your hosting account or other reasons.

However keep in mind that maybe you are typing in your username or password wrong. Best advice is to wait while @Admin comes over this thread, because he will be able to provide you more accurate answer. Also, please include your epizy sub-domain name or your hosting account username so its easier to help you out!

Hello BBOT22

thank you for your reply :slight_smile:

hum, for what I already read at the forum, my account being suspended seems to be the most likely answer - now, I do not know why it happened - I did anything special to get to that - I guess. :frowning:

about writing/typing a bad/wrong password, I’m pretty sure I did it well because I had already access to my cPanel (or maybe I should say Vista Panel?). :wink:

Also, please include your epizy sub-domain name or your hosting account username so its easier to help you out!

Yes, I’m really sorry about that - here they are:

Cheers :wink:

@fantomas

Like i said, you should wait for @Admin to come over here and help you out. Keep in mind that InfinityFree doesn’t own the infrasturcture, and i think they are ByetHost reseller.

Make sure to carefully read InfinityFree TOS, maybe your site had bad content, like pornography (which is not allowed on free hosting), chat scripts, heavy scripts, Pirated/Warez content, file hosting, .exe file and software downloads.

:slight_smile:

ok I’ll be waiting for @Admin :slight_smile:

my site has nothing that you mentioned - the site is mostly offline because I just use it for testing/learning - nothing else. It’s why I chose a free hosting. :slight_smile:

anyway, thanks for your advice - regards :slight_smile:

@fantomas im not sure, but i think that your hosting account can get deleted for inactivity, so maybe because you haven’t been online for some time, it got deleted. Create a new account for now. Remember that its important to always generate backups of your websites. You can store them on your own computer, because website backups usually do not take up alot of space!

@bbot22

no chance - I got my hosting account just yesterday (mm)

Create a new account for now.

that’s what I thought too - but let’s see in first if @Admin has a better solution. :wink:

First of all, your account is active and not suspended or deactivated in any way. There shouldn’t be anything preventing you from logging in.

I will check this in more detail later, but right now, you could try to reset your password again. Be sure to check your spam folder too!

@Admin

thanks for your reply - well, that’s good to hear :slight_smile:

I just made it but any message :frowning:

An email has now been sent to xxxxxx, please check spam folders / junk folders for this mail

@Admin

hi again - is there any chance to get out from this issue? could you or any support team member reset my password manually because I still did not receive any password reset email. :frowning:

thank you

cheers

@fantomas Maybe, it is problem with email provider you’re using? Contact with them, maybe they are blocking emails from InfinityFree.

These password reset e-mails are not sent from our system, they are send from the hosting panel which we cannot control or track.

I can reset the password for you. Can you please send an e-mail to [email protected] with your request? Be sure to include your username and send the message from the e-mail address which owns the account.

@Admin

ah, very nice - I’ll do it right now :slight_smile:

Great! :smiley:

I have access to my cPanel again - thank you very much for quickness. :slight_smile:

Cheers, fantomas
