Softaculus Internal Server Error

Since yesterday I get the following error message whenever I try to use Softaculus. Thank you in advance for your help!

I have read on the forum that maybe it’s a problem of Inodes limit, but according to Cpanel I have 0% of Inodes used. Also my space limit is OK.

Sorry, I couldn’t wait and started to delete the folders of my Prestashop fresh new installation done yesterday and now everything seems to be working again.

I don’t know what happened as I only installed Prestashop, changed a couple of photos of the default theme and the problems began.

May I install Prestashop in InfinityFree? I’ll just have around 100-150 products total, or will I have problems again?

Prestashop is a heavy script, so it’s very likely it quickly filled the inodes limit and blocked Softaculous from working.

Unfortunately, I do not think you can use it:

Looking at the directory structure of your site, the issue seems to arise from Prestashop itself having a pretty large Composer vendor folder, and many of the dozens of addon modules you have on it have their own Composer folders too, resulting in a large amount of duplicate code. But that’s hard to fix without breaking the site.

So I’m afraid your website is just too big for a free hosting account. The number of files in it is just too high.

There is no bug. The inode counter is accurate, you’ve grossly exceeded the inode limit and your account is being impacted as expected.

I get it. Thank you.
I’ll be trying Prestashop as far as InfinityFree lets me do it.
I just will be using it as a catalog to have my products displayed, not as a store.
