. I’ve been getting this error almost every second day for the past 6 months. How and Why?
I thought someone provided InfinityFree for those people who can not get paid hosting for whatever reason, or learn before investing, or have domain rejection issues with other hosting providers, but it’s starting to feel otherwise. Can someone explain why this Softaculous is such a frequent issue for InfinityFree users, or is it just me?
PS: My account is active, and I have not reached my inode limit.
Honestly, I’ve never had any real problems with it… so its worrying to hear that you’ve had these problems.
Aer you having the problem with it right now? because I’ve checked and I can access Softaculous, so if you’re having the problem now that would suggest an issue connected either to your account, or something blocking it from working for you specifically.
are you trying to access it from the control panel, or from your dashboard? I don’t think it shold make a difference, but figured its worth getting as much information as possible.
The only other thing I can think of is that maybe your FTP credentials have gotten out of sync… can you still upload files through a tool like filezilla?
For starters, if you have an issue which you would like to see solved, please come talk to us. For the question “why didn’t you fix it yet”, the simple answer is that we weren’t aware of it. Next time you’re having an issue, report it so we can look into it, instead of waiting quietly for us to notice and fix it ourselves.
Since you’ve brought it up, I do see the issue now. I don’t fully understand why it happens yet, but I made some changes which should help with this, which should be active in 10 minutes or so.
