Hi there, this is a problem with three of my domains but i wasnt allowed to put more than one so listed is the most important one.

My site works on http but on https these errors come up and I cant reach it. Tried on mobile data on firefox and on a different computer and had the same issue. I’m wondering if this is a code/content problem, a DNS problem, or whether its infinityfrees SSL renewing… any help would be appreciated! thanks.

Update: My site has reached a hits usage limit even though it hasn’t been used today. the page shows an EMPTY_RESPONSE error now, not even the ifastnet suspended domain page as the account doesnt seem to be suspended, even though the hits are at 797557???. I believe this may be a DDOS attack although I’m not sure. Please any help is appreciated!

Ah… I have recently discovered that my IP address 185.27.134.99 is actually experiencing problems right now, so it isnt just me. I will close this topic to prevent “me too” posts. Hopefully this issue is resolved by the admin soon.

@Admin My account got suspended for high traffic now, understandably. As this is an IP error can you confirm that my account will be unlocked when the issue is fixed? As my site has been inaccessible there is no possibility it has received this many hits in 24 hours… thanks in advance :+1:

Hello, I’m new here to help and English is not my first language so I can make mistakes.

  1. Admin has pings disabled.
  2. Your account has been suspended because you exceeded the limit of hits wich is how many entities make requests to your website.
  3. The IP could have been attacked.

  2. I know somewhat how pings work but I have never gotten over 10,000. 797k is way too much for one day. I have been scrolling the forum and many other people have also had this extreme growth in hits over the last few days. This makes me assume it is probably a DDOS attack. My question is whether my account will get re-enabled if the IP issue is resolved.

Here’s what the error on my dashboard says:

Your account is suspended for high traffic

Your account was suspended because it received a very high amount of traffic in a single month.

Free hosting is intended for small sites and projects, and not suitable for handling high traffic. This includes both legitimate traffic and undesired (e.g. bot/attack) traffic.

We cannot reactivate your account. But if you want to receive a backup of your account, please submit a support ticket to request it.

Accounts that are not reactivated will be deleted automatically after 20-60 days. Suspended accounts cannot be deleted earlier on request.

This is understandably quite concerning because I really don’t want to loose my entire userbase and site because of a DDOS attack and IP problem…
