DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

Was working fine an hour ago, then suddenly became inaccessible.

Possibly, this might be the issue as your website is working fine for me but using DNS checker I found that your website is not accessible at some other places.

This issue is back. Site became accessible for me a couple of hours after posting this a few days ago. Checked this morning and I’m getting the “Site cannot be reached” message again with the same error code: DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN. Is the DNS issue still ongoing?

Hey there. Your site is working for me, so your cache may be the issue.
Thanks

The issue wasn’t gone yet. You just didn’t see it because it affects people quite randomly.

Makes sense. Thank you.

Yeah, my site: www.mostever.epizy.com has been doing this for several days. Never know when it will be up or down or who will be able to see it. Makes it kinda difficult to test the changes to my theme. Oh well.

So the A record keeps changing by its self, or are you removing it and re-adding it?

Only thing I did was: sign up for an account, choose name, upload files, apply for ssl, add ssl, and add other site files. throughout this process, the site randomly goes from available to unavailable. At one point the https was available when the http was not. Would get different results when using cellular data rather than my isp.

In any case, I will likely remove everything and start from scratch.

Maybe wait a day and see if the A records is consistent.

There was an outage, it has been confirmed and has not been fixed yet. Some of the nameservers report the correct information for your domain and others don’t.

Instead of starting from scratch completely, you could also try removing the domain from the account and then add it again. That should force the settings to be updated and bring your domain online.
