Originally received an email that said my site was not active.
I took proper steps and got another email saying " Your InfinityFree account if0_38058168 (CostelloW…) has been reactivated! All control panel functions have been restored and your website will come back online shortly."
Came back 2 days later and it says active, I refreshed but it won’t show up.
Please help. ty
I see the default landing page, make sure your files are uploaded to the /htdocs folder and you have an index file present.
Index2.html says 10k and “files for your website should be here” says 0B. But that doesn’t sound like anything. Right? Why would it delete everything if it gave me a chance to restore and I did and then it says it was reactivated. Am I missing something?
You have to upload your websites files to that folder.
I’m not aware of our hosting deleting any files. As far as I can tell, no website has ever been uploaded to this account. What were you expecting to find here?
Yes, my website of all my 30 yrs of work was there for weeks…many pages. Something happened during reactivation
OK…my mistake…correct url is https://costwork.wuaze.com/
everything is fine ty for trying ho help. I think that old url was my original intended url but refined before implimenting.
If you’ve seen the recent changes of your website in a different machine, it’s likely that the old version of the page has been cached by the browser or network. As a general rule, you should clear the browser’s cache whenever there were recent changes in your hosting account or website.
