Trying to figure out why my sidebar that I set to be the right sidebar containing all my widgets stays under the container in every page of mine except the homepage. Been looking for the setting to fix it for a long while now.

Then what are you expecting us to do?

This issue is quite specific to, not even WordPress, but the theme you are using right now.
If you need help on this, please consult the theme developer, or at least the WordPress forums; but definitely not your hosting provider.

It seemed like a common enough issue but the reason I’d been posting here instead of Wordpress because strangely I can’t use the same account linked to InfinityFree for the forums possibly because it needs to be directly hosted through the website but I’ll see if maybe there’s a workaround like making another account just for accessing the forum. I didn’t think this was a theme issue, just a general Wordpress issue but I’ll definitely look into it, thanks!

Are you saying that you are trying to login to the WordPress forum with your InfinityFree account?

I honestly don’t know what pushed you to try this, because it was apparent enough to me that these are two seperate companies.

And WordPress (WordPress.org) doesn’t provide any hosting. WordPress.com do, but that’s yet another company.

I’m trying to login to the Wordpress forum using the account associated with my InfinityFree account if that makes sense. It’s an account that was available even before having the InfinityFree site but apparently I can’t log in normally any more which was very confusing for me. I received an email explaining that the account used with a hosting provider and an account through Wordpress is not the same, not sure if they meant Wordpress.com I tried looking up the email but I have yet to find it.

Well, that exactly what I’m trying to explain above: It doesn’t make any sense.
Even if they share an email address, they are still unrelated with each other.

Very correct indeed, I don’t know where exactly you are not understanding this.

Definitely not.

You need to sign up for WordPress support forums here.

The strange thing is that it says the username is already in use indicating that there is an account already but it won’t acknowledge the password but I’ll try resetting the password to see if that helps.

I’ll just make an entirely new account and try to link it somehow then.

It’s really confusing because I even tried right now with a different user name and tried to do my usual email address but there’s an indication that there’s an account associated with it but that it’s pending approval and that I’ll receive an email indicating approval so that I can set the password. So in other words I have to wait? It’s been about a couple weeks since I’ve created the site and I’ve checked the junk email as well.

You can’t link it to your InfinityFree account. InfinityFree is an independent company, and is not in anyway related to the WordPress community.

You may want to see if there’s a way for them to resend it to you. But we can’t really help you with that because we aren’t the WordPress forums.

That probably means that there is a user on that website that has already registered the name you are trying to use and you will have to register with a different name
