my friend’s site http://school237.rf.gd is facing the same problem, it’s been 2 weeks since I helped him activate the ssl on it and in principle his site should be accessible via https://school237.rf.gd but since then nothing has been done.
I had praised this host so much to launch his first project!

As for your problem, did you follow the rest of this guide already? Only requesting the certificate doesn’t mean your friend’s website is already accessible with HTTPS.
