Error Message
I am getting this error after installing some of the scripts that available:
Could not include the bootstrap.php. One of the reasons could be open_basedir restriction !
This is expected. All scripts need to be installed within its respective htdocs directory
It is.
Is the file more than 1MB?
I’d love to look into this, but your message is way too vague to be able to meaningfully help you.
A few very basic questions:
- Which exact scripts have you installed where you ran into this issue?
- What is the URL to your website, and which script is installed to it right now?
It’s done for several I installed to that I wanted to test.
Currently have sitepad installed.
Right, that’s a very important detail.
Sitepad is not supported on our hosting. It uses configuration that is not compatible with how our hosting works or how we’ve integrated Softaculous in our platform.
It’s visible because it’s from the creators of Softaculous and they are pushing their own products, but not something we officially support.
If you’re looking for an easy to use website builder, we offer the Site.Pro builder for that. If you want something else, that’s fine, and you can use any of the scripts installable through Softaculous, but then pick something from their catalog, like WordPress, instead of their own website builder.
