Script installer Error!

It will not let me post to the system issues, which this clearly is a server issue.

My input:

Script installer and all its functions are vital for WP sites, and I can not even update plugins now or push Staging to live, as updating plugins asks for Connection Information: Hostname, FTP Username, FTP Password.

Domain is my own, but I’m on free hosting, not that this should matter, as everything has been fine for a few months since I joined. Nothing has changed from my end; I only log on to the back end of my websites to make updates. Thanks for any help you guys can provide. AI’s confirm this is a server-side issue, and I checked here, and nothing was reported, so here we are.

Softaculous needs to create some temporary files on login, and if you reached the limit, it will crash like this.

Also, Softaculous is a helpful tool, but there is nothing it offers that you cannot do yourself outside of it. Installing and updating plugins works perfectly fine from WordPress’ admin panel, and doesn’t require the use of Softaculous.

However, this requires your site to have available disk space and inodes. The fact that WordPress is prompting you to provide FTP credentials tells me that WordPress has trouble updating files too.

Reducing your disk space usage will fix both WordPress’ own admin functionality and Softaculous.

Yes, you are right, I removed all the backups to make space as the 5 GB limit was reached, now everything works fine. Thank you so much.
