Robots.txt gives a 404 [Solved]

This is similar to other posts, but their answers are irrelevant.

I have uploaded a robots.txt file to my website, but for some reason it returns a 404.

I’m very sure that it is uploaded and is a valid file on the website.

However, when I navigate to it the server returns a 404. I have not blocked it nor have I made it accessible in any way.

Can anyone else see it?

Ima try clearing cache again.
