Is the dispute due to confidentiality issues or pricing

These issues tend to be abuse related, mostly. Every domain used for free subdomains has tens of thousands of active websites. Unfortunately, some of them are bad. And some provider see even a few abuse reports to be enough evidence that the domain is used for malicious purposes and take it down.

In short should we expect our data to be shared with another third party or the free have to ceased in order to have our sites back ?

Sharing personal information is definitely out of the question. Even those who reports abuse or registrars have no business obtaining a list of individual domain owners. I cannot imagine any scenario where that might happen.

At worst, the registry decides that the domain name is too much trouble and they take the domain from us. Then your website on that domain would be down permanently. But then of course free hosting itself would still continue and you could still migrate your website to a different domain.

It doesn’t really help to know exactly when the domain name came back online. It’s not like it will take exactly 72 hours, 0 minutes and 0 seconds for your website to start working for you. It’s different for every website and every visitor of every website.

DNS caching usually fixes itself within 24 hours, generally within 48-72 hours, but in extreme cases even longer than that. It depends on many factors, and it’s completely out of our control, and mostly out of yours too.

The important thing to remember is that the domain name is fixed and due to the nature of the issue it’s extremely unlikely that any particular website would not be working because of this issue. So please just wait until a few days after my announcement that it was fixed before requesting support.

for myself, all domains with the free.nf extension are block by avast “URL:BlacklList” .
Since I add almost nothing online and it was only about testing, i finally suspended my account . I was not really using it, so it leaves ressources for others.
