Your account is temporarily suspended for database usage
Your account was suspended because you hit database usage limits.
Accounts that hit a daily limit are suspended for 24 hours. After 24 hours, your account will be reactivated automatically.
Other Information
Dear InfinityFree Support,
On 01/12/2025, our website was placed under a 24-hour access restriction, stated to be due to “usage limit exceeded.” Since no technical details were provided, we are unable to clearly understand the basis of this restriction.
Additionally, although the 24-hour period has passed, access has not yet been restored, and we have not received any explanation regarding the delay.
We kindly request clarification on the technical reason for the restriction, the relevant logs, and information on when normal access is expected to resume.
The database usage on your account was significantly higher then the database usage of other free hosting sites, and caused the database server to overload
The suspension is time specific. So if the suspension started at 1pm, you won’t regain access until 1pm the following day. So based on the above it’s likely that your suspension was later in the day than you thought
Accounts are reactivated automatically after 24 hours. That means that 24 hours after the account is suspended, the activation of your account will be initiated.
It can take some time for the reactivation process to completely, but usually it’s 10-20 minutes at most.
So your website will not be back online after 24:00:00 on the dot. That’s just how our system works.
This article explains more about how the particular limit works.
There is nothing we can share with you. The exact metrics, calculations and limits used are not shared publicly. And for this particular limit, that would require sharing data about the whole server as well as data from other accounts, and I hope you can understand why that’s out of the question.
